The Carpenter

An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his employer- contractor of his plans to leave the house- building business and live a more leisurely life with his wife enjoying his extended family. He would miss the paycheck, but he needed to retire. They could get by.

The contractor was sorry to see his good worker go and asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favor. The carpenter said yes, but in time it was easy to see that his heart was not in his work. He resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end a dedicated career.

When the carpenter finished his work the employer came to inspect the house. He handed the front-door key to the carpenter.

"This is your house," he said, "my gift to you."

The carpenter was shocked! What a shame!

If he had only known he was building his own house, he would have done it all so differently.

So it is with us. We build our lives, a day at a time, often putting less than our best into the building. Then with a shock we realize we have to live in the house we have built. If we could do it over, we'd do it much differently. But we cannot go back.

hmmm let's see, wad have i been doing.

saturday got rehersal, and i duno the lyrics T.T. but it's ok cos just need to let go n sing, holy spirit jus flow in, so end up can sing quite well.

sunday got duties at church, need to sing for 2 services. woke up ard 5am....got to be there early. tats call responsiblity. its very tiring n feel worn out. due to lack of sleep n stress before on stage. but it's all worth, all for You Lord ^^ and it's ok ...becos of You, i feel the joy,

the peace,the energy whenever im on the stage.

after the service, crap wif cell mates till 4 pm plus haha. service end at 12.30, we always stayed till 4 to 5. loyal award yeah kekeke. on my way home, got a cal frm mummy. from her tone, i noe she is lonely. so even though im all prepare to sleep whole day once i get to my bed.

But i let it go cos mummy is more important then my sleep.

Meet up with her at her place, then went for dinner at City Square Mall (The new mall which directly opposite her condo , so nice kekeke shopping here i come~) the mall is huge n new, still smell new kekeke. book manicure n pedicure appointment for both of us.

then found a groovy salon, mummy just hop in n get her hair color. she ask me to go off first, cos she be there for quite some time. its already 7 plus....hug n bid gd bye, and off i go. reach home, bath n totally K.O. on my bed. slept till duno wad time next day. LOL well, tats how my sunday goes.

monday, hmmm, on9 surf, blog, game, blog n game, n blog n game LOL

tuesday, same thing happen like monday. on9 surf, blog,game,blog n game, n blog n game LOL. met my ex game cpl in the game and a crazy funny xdd. we had so much crapping, luff till cramps LOL. then its started to rain, then ppl get emo during late nites. then, then i manage to cheer my ex cpl, but end up tat crazy funny xdd emo...WTH.....and xdd left the game room, then he feel better and came back to have fun when we all decided to go off to sleep LOL .

its a fun nite, all had lots of fun, played till 4 plus wednesday morning.

i'm really in shock when my gf told me her dad passed away last Sunday morning....cos all of us tot he had recover n going back home soon....i cant help crying, tears cant stop falling...all seem not true...all seem like a dream.

i just got to know my gf not long ago. i only met her dad once. he already gave me such impression tat he was gentle and kind. he and his wife were so loving at their age, im deeply impressed by their love, infact i was touched. To me, the kind of love they had are amazing. i never tot i can love like them....

i never go n help out on Sunday nor going to church, cos i think i better let them have some peace. and also becos im not ready to face anyone, i dun wish to go there crying infront of them wor....will make them feel awful...so i wait till monday....

i have been to the wake since monday helping out. uncle have alot of relatives, friends and customers tat show up. these again showed he is a good man, a well respected man. make me wonder, when i die, will there be such crowed at my funeral ma...

although i just got to know them....but i felt i have to help, somehow. tonite i wanted to spend a nite at their place, cos im worry for them, my gf n her mum...i noe the last nite is the worst nite, it brings back the memory of my mum's funeral. the last nite i nev sleep a wink, never had eatern for days. i have totally lost my voice due to lack of sleep, food and weepings non stop....its the worst experience i had in my whole life, its even worst then the time i was being mentally n physically abuse....the lost of a love one...its great great tormenting experience...

Dear PaPa God, pls help them~ pls gif them peace and comfort tat they need so badly now. pls heal them. In Jesus name i pray.Amen~

I'll be having my lesson for my baptism today......it has begin, even before the lesson starts....

Saturday, i had a big fight wif my family, n i had fall out wif them.

Plus, i quit my job, so i'm jobless now.....

Plus, i had nite mares tat feel soo real.....

Plus etc, etc etc......im feeling downnnnnnnn, all the way downnnnnnnn.

I have been warn, tis will happen when i decide to get baptise de wor, i tot im well prepared....who knows its sooo unbearable.........feel like dying.....feel like end of the world........feel like not going to church.....BUT, tats wads tat bloody devil wants frm me wor!!!

So i need to Jiayous~~ i wont gif in to devil de, i will fight u, u stupid devil!!! get lost n fuck off la!!! No matter wad u do, i wont gif in to u de, i know God is here for me. He will make everything better for me again ^^.

When we expect to receive that raise, that bonus, that promotion, and we don't.

We inevitably feel "disapointed", then "discouraged", and........finally "despair" if the broken expectation is big enough.

If you were to make alist of the most prevalent root problems in people's lifes, what would be on it? "Bitterness" will be on top of the list, cos bitterness often is rooted in ill-defined expectations. And also a misplaced point of ultimate trust.

If we expect life to be nicer, expect people not to use, manipulate, ignore, misunderstand or abuse us. If we expect something outside the span of reality.....then it's inevitable that our dreams will become nightmares.

Feel So Happy lor~~~~

First thing, last nite i met up wif my Jiemei, Sei Fei Chai, his gf and went to Tiff place. We had pizza for dinner wor. tell u peeps huh, the pizza is better then pizza hut de wor....but i forget wad name liao *Heeheehee. We play Wii game siah. Keep us all penting like cow siah~~~ Firstly, we played tennis game, i *chuan dao~~~ Then follow by bowling game, i *su dao~~~ (T.T) Lastly, we played boxing game, i can die lor!!! I cant stop laughing and punch at the same time. End up, stomach cramp dao~~~ my arms muscle ache dao~~~ But was fun lor *wahahahah, we had great time (^.^) We end the nite wif cards game, lost money wor (T.T)....tat sei fei chai won lor, he laughing now lor....mmd (mamade). Felt happy everytime we meet up, must do it more often de wor *heehee.

Second thing, feel abit ps to mention la *wahahahaha. Tat si rock tag in blog wor. Not on my blog la ofcos. On some blog la. He ah, so skinny, want to pretend as cai shen wor (buay pai sei de). Monkey cai shen lor *wahahahaha. So happy to see his messg. As usual, he show his unique concern, in a very unique ways lor (he forever so unique de *vomit~~). Year 2008 had been a busy & colorful year for me .

Alot had happened, good, very good, bad, and really bad. But, the BEST thing tat had happen to me is, God had saved me ^.^

God had answered my prayers, all my prayers.

If i have not been saved by God, i guess i will end the year 2008 will anguish, hatred, regrets and sadness de.

But instead now, i feel tat i had gain sooooo much wor. i really had gain alot alot.

I am truly truly happy now de.

Really really from my heart & soul, i thank God for everything.

Thank God for wonderful family & friends, for giving me so mani miracles in my life.

I'm back frm my JB trip~~

Been really busy for the preparation of CNY wor, glad its done liao, can relax liao >.<

This year de reunion dinner, not only i prepared main dishes, i also add a steamboat wif mani mani side dishes wor *very kia su rite heehee. Glad to know everyone like the food wor, they even praise me for the presentation siah.

Yup, i luv pretty stuff, so the food i prepare also must be pretty de. Lucky i never learn how to carve lor, if not....i sure carve a rose, dragon or pheonix de wor *wahahaha

Had bought a new dinner set.....again..... all red red de wor *heng heng mah LOL. I also bought alot of fresh flowers~~~ *lalala~~~

The trip to JB always been real fun de. We had so mani relatives and children *i luv kids ^.^

So mani wishes, so mani good food too~~~Feel so wonderful~~~ Wads the most fun? Fireworks ofcos lor ^.^

Every year, the whole neighbourhood play fire works, fire crackers together de. One of the neighbours will start, then the rest will join in de. Then the whole neighbourhood will light up wif fire works siah, so pretty~~~

There is tis time, when we all happily playing fire works outside the house....suddenly someone shouted *MATA LEI CHOR, MATA LAI LIAO, MATA LOY LOR~~~( cos mani dialect groups mah, LOL )

All ran back to the house screaming & giggling. Within 5 sec nia, the whole place so quiet liao, so funny lor ^.^ End up, its just a false alarm lor, then all shoot the one tat shouted *hahaha.

Bought the tree and i decorated it. The theme is winter Xmas, so its blue lor. (ya, i have theme for my trees liao, cannot meh.....2008 is Winter X'mas (blue), 2009 is Sweet X'mas (pink), and for year 2010 is Romance X'mas (purple) cos probably i will have wedding in a church, kekeke~ It's my Dream to have wedding in a church wor, and now i can rite? cos i am a real christian liao wor *happy happy~

Hmm, i'm at home now, feeling drowsy (cos took med),

cos they never stop shouting. If me, i go KTV sing few song,

A miracle happen to me today wor *happy happy.
I was upset by someone just now, i try to control my anger, so i turn to Lord.
I keep reading my Bible and pray to Lord.
After some time, someone appear from no where n talk to me about Lord.
He told me his son, who is a Christian , brought him to church yesterday for healing.
He saw me wearing a cross so he ask if i'm a Christian too.
He was curious how n why i start going church. ^.^
He was in his late fifties, and he was very curious about Lord.
I was most happy to share with him about Christ.
After he left, i was feeling sooooo happy, cos i help someone ^.^

The miracle ~ i was so upset but after i turned to Lord, i was receiving double dose of happiness in return wor. To me, it is a miracle liao. ^.^

Since the time i'm able to have solid food, my mum gave me tomato liao. I take tomato every day since then. We keep all the tomatoes in the fridge, so as and when, i just wash the tomato & eat, anytime i feel like it, straight from the fridge lor.

Why? cos my mum say so lor. She always tell me it is very good for me lah. But when i ask her to explain, she go blank....and ask me to go find my science teacher for answer LOL. My mum just lazy to explain it to me and also cos she is always busy with work ma, bo bian~

Well, tomatoes are very good for us is becos~~~

Eating tomatoes, ketchup, tomato sauce and tomato paste-topped pizza more than two times a week can reduce the risk of prostate cancer by 21 to 43 %.

"The only nutrient that turned out to have significant preventative value (against prostate cancer) was lycopene," and lycopene was most efficiently absorbed into the body when accompanied by dietary fats.

Had Guild BBQ on last Saturday {22.11.2008}.

It was Kero's idea but supported by our master Cas

(Must say big THANKS to them, xin ku ni men le) I reach there about 3 or 4 plus(afternoon la, u think i so tok gong meh? go during A.M.), but hor, i went to the wrong chalet man!!! *Sotong~. The best part is, i went all the way in to find block "P". Till the very end, i can only find block L nia??? Where is hell is block "M,N,O & P" ??? I search round & round for quite some time, then i realise i should gif jiemei a call. As usual lor...(me so tupid de la) zzz. Luckily, my sweet jiemei come to my rescue *heehee. She came all the way to fetch me lor.

Alamak, so old still need people to fetch wor *faint.

After awhile, they all went out to collect stuff.

So i'm left all by myself in the chalet. I'm kind of bored so i keep staring at the opposite chalet (want to kay po kay po ma), but they began to stare back wor. SO, *bo bian, i just gif them a stupid smile n look down lor, dots. I decide to turn on the TV n sms Sig le. BTW, after they left not long, it began to pour real heavy wor >.<

(they sooo kelian~ no umbrella). I kinda did something stupid la, i turn down the TV volume, cos im afraid of lightning de . Duno where i got the theory from la, im afraid the volume of the TV will attract the lightning siah, then i kena electric sot how? *swallow saliver *gurps~

The first guest tat arrive are >>>> *drums rolling~ Mr Goldbox wif his lovely wife & cute daughter (^.^). They even brought *soon kuehs & egg tarts wor, fresh from the factory wor (so nice of them rite, *hee i luv egg tarts) Plus, they were very friendly too (^.^) When the rest got back wif all the foods & drinks, they were so soaking wet wor (so kelian >.<) After they *bom bom (bath), we went outside to wait for Sig.

We were looking here and there cos we never met him before.

Finally, he appear and and....he......is......soooooo cute *LOL But he is still notty cos he gave me his umbrella O.O (lazy to tell in details, pai seh) He keep telling me "nah tis for u" (make me happy siah, tot he gif me pressie MMD), end up he pass me rubbish, ask me to throw for him de zzz. But still, he is cute la, cos so young, like baby LOL~~ Overall, all the friends and friend's de friend, very nice people lor ^.^ (friendly, nice n funny) And all had fun that night.

Hope we can do it again *kekeke~~
